Morning Walk

$100.00
Sold

This peaceful blue and green painting, inspired by my long summer walks through the city of Cambridge to a hill I think of as the “top of the world.” In it, a tall green tree stands silhouetted against a vast blue sky. Perhaps it is early morning. The birds are singing. The day is just starting. Everything is possible.

Do you have an office or a corner of your home that’s dark? The daylight in this painting will not fade with the seasons. Look at it and imagine walking under a morning sky, to the top of the hill. From there the world spreads out beneath you. Breathe. Relax. Move beyond.

I create all my paintings with archival materials. This painting is acrylic and graphite, sealed for UV protection. This piece, inspired by walks to Danahy Park in Cambridge, MA, is painted on 6'“x6” acid-free hardboard. It ships for free, unframed. Because it is sturdy, you can prop it immediately by your computer or in a bookcase. To hang, consider a floater frame or hang it as it using a Command hook.

I’m always happy to discuss framing options. Contact me to find out what’s available.
