A work in progress

After years in technical writing, I returned to school and received my BFA from Rhode Island School of Design. My work explores color and image in acrylic, collage, and wearables. I teach at the Arlington Center for the Arts and lead classes for the elderly and folks in long-term care.

To pursue a subject, I layer and edit, moving between materials, seeking the music-like rhythm where elements converge in harmony. It is a process of ceaseless questions, always looking for the chance to clarify meaning and push past what’s come before. In art as in life, balance is momentary and emerges from ceaseless change.
